PHOTOS OF NAVAJO FUN DURING VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
The Rain Forrest is going great, the food is exceptional, and all the teachers are lined up for Vacation Bible School at the Newcomb Assembly of God Church. Well over 25 children have joined the fun. Members of FPCD have provided hands-on help and this year’s curriculum. Please call Pat Wainwright at 970-749-7961 for further information.
MORE NAVAJO FUN
When was the last time you ate a donut on a string? Looked for a penny in the sand? Participated in a watermelon eating contest? Won a stick horse riding race? July 31 could be your lucky day!
For 27 years the Newcomb Church has hosted “Jesus Day” to celebrate Jesus. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 9am -2pm. The FPCD family have been invited to attend. Hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be served for lunch. If you are not a game player there is always the option of watching, laughing, and mingling. And Celebrating Jesus.
We will carpool from FPCD, leaving at 7am and returning by 3:30pm. Please contact Pat Wainwright by email or call her at 970-749-7961 to RSVP.
The Navajo Nation is still under COVID restrictions. Please bring a mask. We will be outside.
Thank you to all those who continue to support the Newcomb Mission by donating gently used clothes, household goods, and furniture. Everything sent is used by the Navajo community.
