Our family is continuing to grow deeper together. We have started to see Elisha wanting to help with Grace more and be a comfort to her when she needs it. Grace absolutely adores Elisha! She is quick to give him smiles and giggles when he is around.

Now that the school year is officially over, we are excited to make lots of memories with the kiddos. From road trips, to parks and pools – we can’t wait to have more elaborate time with one another!

What a year! We are blown away by the Lord’s generosity in our first year on campus! Pioneering in a pandemic and having a baby in the middle would have seemed impossible, but we serve a mighty God who has big plans and is able to do the impossible. It has been a humbling year and seeing the Lord move when, at times, we could only do minimal. Yet he reminds us that it is his doing and his plans that spring forth and cause our ministry to be fruitful. By being present and welcoming people into our lives, has given the Lord room to move. We are excited for next year, to see the students he’ll bring into our lives and the work he will do in and through everyone.

These next few months we will be doing some traveling, trying to connect with several of you 🙂 As well as support raising and being with family. We are looking forward to it all!
If you have ever seen the TV show, The Office, you’ll get the reference here. Though our award night wasn’t as cringe worthy as the Dundies, or as awkward, we had an amazing night! We got to spoil our students to some good food, some games and an award that called out some strengths (or something they have become known for in Chi Alpha). We had our musical theater major, Emmy, host and crack many jokes which made the night that much more enjoyable! Once we officially ended, karaoke and a dance party broke out and the party continued!

One special thing we did was open the floor up to honor one another. Our students blew us away with being quick to go up there (and even fighting others for the mic). Already we see the culture of honor established in our ministry and the thoughtfulness that comes with it as they called out wonderful things about one another’s character and strengths that the Lord has given them!
We have found 6 students who are willing to take up the call to be disciple makers this next year! Deanne, Rachel, Emmy, Meredith, Emma and Steven. We prayed for the Lord to bring us students who loved Him and wanted to see Him move on this campus – and he did! We are so excited to see how the Lord uses these 6 to win souls for Jesus these next few years!

We took these 6 to a retreat center a few towns over and we dove into the word of how Jesus discipled. We had a powerful night of worship and teaching. That night Jamie and I got to sit down with Rachel as she sought the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Now all 3 of my girls are searching and wanting more of the Lord and to be used by him more! God is so good!

I, Hannah, also had the privilege to teach on why we should reach out to international students! I love sharing about one of my passions!
We had such a fun time getting creative for our final few Friday Night Hangouts. We had a grill out and couch-a-pult competition. For this event each team is given a chair and a piece of wood and told to make a catapult. The team who can launch the “unknown” item the farthest wins. In this case, we had left over Easter eggs to fling, and it was awesome! There were some creative attempts but the team who one definitely did it better.

Another night we put on an 80’s prom themed murder mystery party. Everyone dressed up and we transformed the Blair’s living room into a high school gym. Our students really got into character (easy for all of our performing arts majors) and interrogation of all the suspects commenced. Turns out it was Emmy all along.. But it was a night worth remembering!

-Hannah is going in for more tests to see what is causing her to almost pass out. Please pray for wisdom for us and the doctors as we start this process. Also pray that the Lord heals whatever is causing it. (Feel free to contact us for more info or check out our Facebook page for backstory.)

-Pray for us as we take a few road trips to see friends and family

-We will be raising more support over the next few months to have a healthier budget. Join with us for praying for more partners, and a growing heart for the upcoming generation reached!

-Pray for our students who are now home for the summer; that they would continue to grow in their walk with the Lord and in friendship with one another.
