POP’s will hike in the Perins Peak State Wildlife Area (SWA) just West of the Rock Ridge Subdivision. Meet to Carpool at 9:30am
The hike will take place Saturday Nov. 23. This is more of a stroll during the transition season to winter. The SWA closes on Dec 1. Meet at the church at 9:30 am. We will drive a few miles to the parking lot trailhead (TH) at the end of the Rock Ridge Road. There is a pleasant low-grade tail that goes up the valley past an old homestead. We plan to be back to the cars before lunch. For more details contact Gary and Cathy Jones at 970-946-5848 or Steve Parker and Geni Miller 970-946-9551.
